Paul Pfeiffer Obituary
Paul was born in Steyer, Austria to Notburga and Paul Pfeiffer Sr. on January 8, 1949. The family emigrated to Chicago, IL in 1952.
Paul's working life was spent as a machinist, making springs for autos and motorcycles. He was an avid city bicyclist, as well, choosing to ride for his main form of transportation since the mid 1980s.
He retired in 2014, and got to enjoy spending time with his family, and gardening.
Paul had a terrific and quirky sense of humor. He was well known for his generosity and caring spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Notburga and Paul, and his brother in law Manfred.
Paul is survived by his children Gina and Bradley (Emily), his ex-wife Julie Lux, Grandchildren Crystal, Sean (Vasiliki), Andrea, Owen, great-grandchildren Benjamin and Daphne.
Siblings Rosemary and Anna (Manfred) Maass, Nephews and niece Jason (Vicky), Eric Maass, Susan (Mike) Detjen, Great nephew and nieces Seth, Nikita Barbeau, and Samantha Detjen.
Paul will be greatly missed.
