The Reed Family

I worked with Paul at Statistics Canada back in the 1970's in Judicial Division later named the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics and he was a very dedicated researcher.

Our deepest condolences. The news of Paul's passing came to us as a complete shock. We've known Paul through a close friend of the family, Denyse. In reading his obituary, we learnt a great deal about his fulfilled life. Although we knew he was enthusiastic, curious and easy to talk to, we were not aware of all his accomplishments. He will be sorely missed.

With sympathy,

As Paul's neighbour, my wife and I got to know Paul through friendly curbside chats. He was a very kind and considerate, generous man. When we moved into our home, he was the first to welcome us on the street by coming to meet us and bringing with him a bottle of is homemade raspberry liquor. Reading about all he did in his life is certainly an eye opener for us. He didn't talk about all these accomplishments, perhaps because he presented himself as humble and open. It came as a great shock to us to hear about his death. We offer our most sincere, deepest condolances to the family. He was a great neighbour and he will be sorely missed.
