Paul Ruddy, visionary artist and poet, died peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Beloved partner of Richard Orlando for 37 years; he was also a mentor to many others whose lives were enriched by his generous and guiding spirit. Paul's friends are in turn deeply grateful to the many caregivers, doctor and nurses at the Montreal General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, CLSC Metro, and NOVA, the visiting nurses association, who all looked after Paul during his last weeks and months. An homage to Paul will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 3-4 p.m., in the chapel of the Mount Royal Funeral Complex at
1297 chemin de la Foret on Mount Royal. In lieu of flowers, donations in support of
the ongoing efforts of the SPCA would be
much appreciated.
