Paul's life sweetened and edified mine. His passing is a great loss. I was privileged to have known him.
"I guess it had to happen someday soon
Wasn't nothing to hold him down
He would rise from among us like a big balloon
Take the sky, forsake the ground
Oh yes, our hearts were broken
And I know our dreams ran dry
But our golden one sails on, sails on
To another land beneath another sky."

So glad I saw Paul in the pink last year.
My thoughts go to you Rick and his friends for whom he had so much time.
I will miss you.

"Spring flowers from England"
The first time I met you was up the City Road. The last time I saw you was down the City Road. We had a coffee and you gave me wisdom on healing, light and love and a print of your last painting - a white dove flying out into the dark blue night -
It is a beautiful, as you were, and continue to be...
Thank you Paul for all you shared; for your generosity and your rebel sweet soul...
Each time I walk now, down the City Road, I shall stop by the cafe, and will see you, dressed in linen-white upon a summer's day....
St. Lawrence St, and Paul...

Dear Rick, My heartfelt and thoughtful condolences. I am counted among those enriched having known and loved Paul. He was indeed one of the Special Ones. I shall forever hold an image of Paul at his last Party... on his own, moving to the music of a sultry tune. He was one with the sounds. It was beautiful. I will be there Friday. Love, Jean
