The first time I saw Paul was on our Ephratah school bus. He sat up front with the boys & I sat in the back with the girls. He stood up to let someone have his seat. I thought he was very handsome & I announced to the ones close by, "Someday I'm going to marry that boy." I was 6 and Paul was 13. The girl who was sitting in front of me said, "That's my brother!" I told her that was okay. Years later, I became good friends with another girl. We liked to go downtown to the movies (Smalley's Theatre). She said her cousin just got a car & he would take us. I was surprized, and delighted, when they arrived, and I saw who her cousin was. That was the beginning of my adventure with Paul. We dated on & off - Then we decided to 'Go Steady'. It lasted about 4 years. We both married others but ran into each other when we lived in Johnstown area. Several years later I became a widow and Paul had a few divorces. Paul called me at work, Joyce Royal Real Estate, & said he was in search of a new house. I guess that I turned out to be his house, as we were married less than a year later. We lasted 5 years. Despite that we ended in divorce, we remained friends. He loved old cars, 16 & 3 motorcycles when we were married. He always needed another garage. He loved swimming and his camp with his beach. I will first remember his smile, then his slow mannerisms, the way my head fit so well on his shoulder, & his reaction to ghosts. I believe that he got much of what he wanted in his lifetime. I share sorrow with his sisters & brothers and commend Lisa for her care & support when he needed it most.

Sheil and Sissy (that´s me) When we were 1or 2 years old....we couldn´t say Paul. We called him Pauleyboy all our life. We visited his as much as we could at The Assistant Living. He introduced us as " my twin sisters."
I loved hearing him say that. He had the nicest smile when we walked into his room. You should have seen the look on his face when he saw our brother Ralph. He surly will be missed. The Johnstown McDonald´s family are missing him too. They all knew him and Rusty. Not to mention at Johnstown Wendy´s also. He loved playing Santa Clause every Christmas, thank the lord for the pictures I took along with others, Priceless. I could go on & on, it´s very emotional
