Paul R Scharr

Paul R. Scharr, 80, of Natick, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Gail Scharr; they were married for 57 years. Born in Hartford, CT, Mr. Scharr formerly resided in Glastonbury, CT, West Hartford, CT and Scottsdale, AZ. He worked at Scharr Jewelry Company in Hartford for many years with his parents Ruth and David Scharr and his brother, Maynard M. Scharr, who predeceased him. Later in life, he was President of Scharr Appraisal, an entrepreneur and co-owner of Moonlight Reflections, LLC with his wife. He adored his family and he will be dearly missed. In addition to his wife, Gail, he is survived by his son, Eric ("Rick") Scharr, and his wife, Natalie Kingsbury, and his daughter, Kerri Scharr, and her husband, Daniel Weiner. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Samantha Scharr, Emily Scharr, Rebekah Kingsbury, Benjamin Scharr-Weiner and Nathan Scharr-Weiner. He will be remembered as a kind, loving and generous man with a great sense of humor. The funeral and memorial service will be private.
