Paul Shipman Obituary
Paul R. Shipman of North Scranton passed away Thursday at home. His wife is Margaret DePrimo.
Born in Buckannon, Virginia, he was the son of the late Virgil and Genevieve Shipman. He proudly served in the United States Army, and prior to his retirement was employed by the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him.
Also surviving are a daughter, Eveline Yackobowitz; stepchildren, Jennifer Sheridan and Jeffrey DePrimo; two sisters, Alice Warner and Goldie Cale; granddaughter, Ashley Sheridan; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Jr.; a daughter, Audra Lumpkin; two sisters, Rita Mackey and Margaret Bean; three brothers, Thomas, Robert and Jerry Shipman.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
