Paul Thomas

ToUpper() Paul Thomas 70, of Brownsville Texas passed away peacefully at his home. He was born in Brownsville to Henry and Irene Thomas and raised in McAllen Texas. He is survived by his daughter Danika Thomas, and his grandson Charlie Boyle of Austin Texas, who will carry with them his legacy of strength, kindness, and a passion for going after one's dreams. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Liz and Barry Hogan, his brother and sister-in-law John and Susan Thomas, nieces Amanda Thomas, and Alyssa Troupe, nephew Jarrod Thomas, and great nephew Ethan Thomas.

Paul played baseball for the McAllen Bulldogs and later for the Pan American Broncs in Edinburg. He also played for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings and played and managed the Harlingen Suns minor league baseball team. He went on to a career selling real estate in the Valley and South Padre Island.

Paul was very kind and loving to all his family. He loved watching sports of all kinds. He struggled with mental illness early in his life and career but continued to be a loving grandfather, father, brother, and uncle. He will be missed by all his extended family.
