VON STEIN PAUL ALAN
Age 53, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. Born February 11, 1963, in Sewickley to the late Roy and Jean (Frischmann) Von Stein. Beloved husband to Sherri Christine for 28 years; most loving Dad to Johnathan Roy and Christina Jean; best brother ever to Kathy (Von Stein) Redman and Terry (Marge) Von Stein. Paul is survived by many nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and in-laws. Also survived by his companion, Tinkerbell. Paul was a graduate of Moon Area High School and Robert Morris College, a Supply Manager at GlaxoSmithKline retiring in 2016 with 32 years of service. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis where he served as an Elder, a member of the Moon Area Band Parent Organization where he chaperoned numerous events, and a former 13-year member of the Moon Twp. Volunteer Fire Co. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, the outdoors, and working on small projects around the house. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the COPELAND MOON TWP. FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 21, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis, 1201 Fifth Ave. Everyone is to meet at the Church for the Service. As per Paul's wishes prior to his passing, no flowers or plants are to be sent to the Funeral Home, but if you wish, please make donations in his name to one of the following: Moon Twp. Volunteer Fire Company, Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis, Moon Area Band Parent Organization, or the Salvation Army Emergency Response Fund. Addresses for charities will be available at the Funeral Home during calling hours.
