He was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Vandergrift (Westmoreland County) to Paul E. Sr. and Florence V. (Riggle) Walker. Mr. Walker was a self-employed dairy farmer. A veteran, he served in the Army. He was a member of the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. His memberships were the Dayton Fair Association for 22 years, where he served as past president and past vice president; former Dayton Young Farmers; Pennsylvania Farmers Association; Armstrong County Conservation Committee; and former Agway Committee; Dayton Glade Run Cemetery, where he served as treasurer; Masonic Lodge 805; Coudersport Consistory; Dayton Grange Local 1819; Dayton American Legion; Woodmen of the World; and the Good Sam?s Lucky 13 and Hobo?s Camping Associations. He enjoyed camping, traveling and vacationing in Florida. Survivors include his wife, Doris (Westlake) Walker, whom he married May 1, 1952; four sons, Dennis Walker and wife Marsha of Erie, Donald Walker and wife Shirley and Timothy Walker, all of Dayton and Terry Walker and wife Dora Mae of Rural Valley; one daughter, Judy Williamson and husband Wayne of Day-ton; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Velma Fawley and husband Dale of Moon Township and Doris Jean Hayes and husband Ronald of Dayton RD2. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Nicholas Walker. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, 125 E. Main St., Dayton, where a Grange Memorial Service will be at 7:15 p.m. Thursday and a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:15 p.m. Friday. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Donald Rising, officiating. Burial will be in the Dayton Glade Run Cemetery, Wayne Township.
