Paul Melton Williams

Paul Melton Williams, 89, of Clovis, NM, died Sunday, June 5, 2011, at his home in Clovis. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM June 8, 2011, at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Furgus Tunnell officiating.
Paul was born August 18, 1921, to Oral and Willie Mae (Cook) Williams in Elmer, OK. He married Billie Thompson February 4, 1975, in Clovis, NM. In the 1960's, he owned and operated several liquer stores and later was a selfemployed Carpenter and Handyman until his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Men's Bible Class.
Survivors include his son, Randy (Jamie) Williams of Clovis, NM; a step-daughter, Anita Hudson of Clovis, NM; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren including his special care giver, Ashleigh Tackitt; seven great-great-grandchildren including his cartoon watching buddy and body guard, Stephen Acosta; two brothers, Don Williams and Conny Joe (Pat) Williams both of Clovis, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Willie; wife, Billie Williams; three brothers, Carl Williams, Bill Williams, and Curly Williams; and a grandson, Billy Ray Starbuck.
