Paula Coben Obituary
For over three decades, Paul and Paula owned and ran Gallery Five in Tequesta, Florida. The store lived up to its motto of Art to Wear, shaped by Paula's sharp eye and love of visual design. Paul's handmade furniture and fixtures gave the space its distinct feel. Together, they poured their hearts into it - it was their shared pride and joy. They enjoyed traveling every year to visit family and go to art shows on behalf of the gallery. Paula carried a positive outlook even in hard times, meeting life with strength and warmth. Conversations with her great-grandchildren lit her up, though everyone who spoke with her felt the joy of being truly heard.
She will be remembered fondly by her daughters: Dori & Yoav Laskin, Cathy Coleman, Lu Ann & Rob Edger; and grandchildren David & Mija Bryen, Oren & Melanie Laskin, Sarah & Shaun Granato, and Brian Edger; and great-grandchildren Darwin & Nova, Lyla & Cosette, Ayla & Ilana.
The family is holding a private celebration of Paula's life on a charter boat in Palm Beach County on June 20, 2025, to scatter hers and Paul's ashes together at sea.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Deepest condolences for your loss. My husband and I became friends with Paul when I worked with him in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. And eventually Paula. We enjoyed visiting them when we went to Florida. Two of the nicest people I've ever met. Together again.
