Peoria - Paula Rudd, 61, of Peoria passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Sharon Willows North Nursing Home in Peoria.

Paula, daughter of Tony and Julia (Jackson) Rudd, was born on January 4, 1964, in Peoria, IL.

Paula was preceded in death by both parents and siblings Richard, Maria, David and Shona. She is survived by siblings Dianne Furness, Jennifer Rudd, Patricia Watt, Michael Rudd, Pamela (Hermina) Rudd, Gregory Rudd, Roderick (Jacqueline) Rudd, and Phyllis (Keith) Thomas; a host of Jackson and Rudd cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece, her special friend Denaria Thorn-Ward, and many dear friends.

Paula attended Manual High School and Bradley University, where she excelled in Drama, Speech, and ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics). She worked in Human Resources and also as an employee trainer for Home Depot. Paula's faith was central to her life. She served as a Prophetess and was a devoted member of Oasis Church in Pascagoula, MS. Her legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

I remember Paula "gliding" down Manuals hall. Her walk was legendary. Always nice and she always smiled.
