Paula Frances (Wheeler) Hudson, 91, passed away at home on March 24, 2025 with her family by her side. Born on Valentine's Day, 1934, daughter of the late Harry L. and Mary T Wheeler in Gloucester, MA, Paula grew up on Gloucester's Rocky Neck, graduating from Gloucester High School in 1951. She attended secretarial school in Boston and worked in offices in Gloucester, Boston, and New York. She married Calvert "Bud" Hudson in 1965, and together they resided in New York and Vermont before moving to Moody, Maine in 1973.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Amy Hudson (James Reynolds) of Milwaukee, Wis.; her son Andrew Hudson (Melissa) of North Haven, CT, and a granddaughter, Sarah Hudson, of North Haven. She was predeceased by her husband, Calvert "Bud" Hudson, and her sister, Nancy (Wheeler) Gray.

Known and loved for her appreciation of the people and beauty around her, she loved food, cooking, eating, flowers, and gardening. Paula loved sharing memories of growing up on Rocky Neck, a picturesque art colony in Gloucester, MA.

The family would like to thank Amanda Kezar, the staff of Northern Light Hospice, and Myra Boissonneault, RN, who provided loving care for Paula during her last months.
