To "Miss McGraw's" Family
She was always Miss McGraw to me , and what a wonderful, thouightful LADY !!
When I was in her grade in Patten I was hospitalized for six months, and never a week went by that I didn't get a package from her and my classmates.
Those are the things one never forgets.
God Bless all of you.

Brenda and I will alway cherish our yearly visits with your mother and you both when we were all in Sherman at the same time. Although Brenda will see you both next week, I will not be in Maine this year but I will be thinking of you.

Joe and Patty,
I am sorry about your mom's death. I feel so fortunate to have had Mrs. Farmer as my fourth grade teacher and lifelong friend. I remember the read-alouds, the mental math, and the paragraph writing as she fostered a love of learning in our class of nearly 40 students. Most of all, though, I remember her patience, quiet discipline, and belief in all of us. She was a wonderful lady.

Dear Joe and Patty-Please know that my
thoughts and prayers are with you both during your time of loss. Mrs. Farmer
was my favorite teaching in grade school and my greatest supporter when I moved home to Sherman with my children. We had many wonderful visits at her home in Sherman Station. She was an awesome lady.

Dear Patty and Joe,
I am sorry for your loss. Pauline was such a good friend. I have fond memories of our sodality meetings at her house with Tina Stevens, Freda Stubbs, Margaret Allen, Minnie Stubbs, Jesse McAvoy and Barbara McNally. Pauline was a gentle lady who was loved by all.

Mrs. Farmer was my favorite teacher. She told me that I looked "mature" in my 4th grade picture. I didn't know what it meant, but I figured if she said it, it had to be something very good.
I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
With sympathy, Beth

Pauline was my mother's roommate in the summer of 2005. She was a very articulate, kind, and warm person. I have thought about her often over the years. She was the kind of person who left heartprints to those who knew her. Blessings to her family.
