Pauline P. (Chabe) LePage, 83, of Cherry Brook Health Care Center in Canton, passed away peacefully after a short illness, Tuesday, (December 10, 2002) at Bristol Hospital. She was born March 17, 1919 in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (Duplissis) Chabe and had lived in Maine, Winsted, Saline, MI, West Hartford and Avon prior to moving to Cherry Brook Health Care Center. Mrs. LePage retired after many years of dedicated service at Aetna Life & Casualty. She was a member of the Church of Saint Ann, Avon, the Avon Senior Citizens, AARP and the Cawasa Grange #34, Collinsville. She is remembered as a devoted mother by her children, Eddie D. LePage (Carol) of Plainville, Sylvia M. Forster (Robert) of Succasunna, NJ and Lila M. Dann (Gerry) of Ann Arbor. MI. She leaves a caring brother, Leo Chabe (Carol) of Minot, ME; four grandchildren, Bonnie Herr, Christine Forster, Kyle and Kelly LePage; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Chabe of Old Orchard Beach, ME; and a sister Jeannine Chabe of Old Town, ME. There are no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton. She will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Gabriel M. LePage in St. Ann's Cemetery, Avon. Memorial donations may be made to Avon Senior Citizens, P.O. Box 1012, Avon, CT 06001.
