My Mom, Lilla (Boots) Armstrong and Pearl "PTAed" together and were such good friends when I was in school. Pearl co-hosted a graduation party for me and was there when I married too. Mama Boots and I send sincere sympathy to Pearl's family.

Your parents gave you the most perfect name. You were definitely the "Pearl" of every single day that I saw you. You were and probably always will be my favorite patient (but don't tell anyone, we aren't supposed to have favorites!). I will miss you with all my heart. The world has lost a most wonderful person. May you rest in peace and comfort. Keep smiling :)

Love,

P.S. You will forever be my "Contrary Pearl"
