Mrs. Pearl was a wonderful role model who abundantly blessed my high school years and life forever!! Her delectable dishes and warm smile will always be remembered. May Jonel and the Edwards family be assured that God has reclaimed his “Pearl”!!

Mother Pearl Lee Edwards a beautiful soul, a jewel full of love and faith ascended to Heaven to be closer to God. To Gwen, Ron, Darlene, Jonell, Fredda, Brea, Carmille and the rest of the family. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no can steal.

Pearl you were an excellent example of a God-fearing woman. I have always admired your caring and selfness nature. You were one of my best friends and I often thought of you as my older sister. Now you are peacefully sleeping in a world of purest light. Where angels sing their sweet refrain and everything shines bright. Rest in Heaven!! Friend/Sister (Mrs. Ardie Lacy)

I was blessed to have known Mother Pearl Lee Edwards, she walked the walk of a God-fearing woman. I often recall with fond memories of her at church and when we spent time in her home with our youth groups. She was always a gracious host (and cook). She was truly a blessing in my life. My condolences to the family. May God's grace comfort you all in your time of bereavement.

I will treasure such fond memories of Sis. Edwards. She opened up her heart and home to me when I came to Buck St.
She was one of the greatest cooks at 3510. She was known for her amazing fried chicken and sweet potato pies. She taught us how to serve others at a young age. I know you are ushering shouting in heaven. Take you rest. We love you.
