It has been almost 18 months since the passing of my dad, Bill Oshanyk, whom my dear Aunty Pearl used to call 'little brother Billy'. And since he was the youngest, so were my brother and I. Many of Aunty Pearl's and Uncle Sam's children were getting married and having children of their own by the time we came along. However, our parents spent a fair bit of time together visiting, and I have fond memories that I have been cherishing for years: watching Aunty and Uncle dancing together at parties(they were very good). Smiling, having fun, and our parents(Bill and Olga), enjoyed being with them. Physical ailments and Alzheimer's contributed to Dad's slow decline as well, and when I think of him, I think of his siblings that passed before him. I miss them all, and have them always close in heart and thoughts. May they all be reunited with each other, and with there children that have also reposed before us. May their memories be eternal.
