I lived next door to this wonderful lady in Hampshire hills, Charlotte NC. It was never a dull moment with her and she was always center of attention wherever she went. Keep resting in peace Mrs. Pearline and hug my mama for me❤❤

So sorry for the loss! I use to live beside The Hueys on Pence Road (8424). My parents were Fred/Lillie Ann Stewart. Pearline got me my first job @ Burger King Eastland Mall. Yes this is PeeWee!

My deepest sympathy to Krystal (the Doggett family) and the Lee family. Sometimes it’s hard to understand God’s timing, when our hearts continue to ache for our loved ones who leave us, but in order to keep our hearts in tune, we must look to HIM; praying and singing through the tears, then, you’ll know you are not alone. Love and blessings to you all.
Sincerely, Mrs Frances

It was my immense pleasure to have worked with Ms. Davis at Butler High. Her matter-of-fact approach to teaching concepts of social studies, unwavering insistence on the importance of an education, and constant ability to find humor in every situation were welcomed additions to the daily routine of administering a school. The family should take great solace in knowing the lives of countless students are better because of her efforts. Although the transition of a loved one is a painful reality, 1 Corinthians 15 reminds us that there will be a day of reckoning when we, like Jesus, will prevail over earthly mortality. Be encouraged!

My Best friend when we first met at Fayetteville State University meant to be. We have been friends since 1973. All our daily conversation at 4:30 pm Mon thru Fri mostly each week. Sometimes if there was a sale on items, she would call in the day and say if you need this/ that item you need to stop at store before you go home to purchase. We always talk on Family, what's on sale, current events and what ARE you cooking for dinner. I will truly miss our daily or weekly conversations at 4:30 pm sharply. I could Thank Mrs. Davis one million times for exposing me to life beyond Charlotte! She orchestrated and managed a wonderful trip for us at Northeast to visit Washington, D.C. I remember her passing out our $5 dollar bills at Carl Roger’s for our lunch. She embodied class, discipline and grace! To the family, Thank You for sharing her with us; she will definitely be missed!

Ms. Davis, you will always be remembered in my heart. Your passion for history and politics was the start of my fire. I got a degree in Political Science from UNCC.

You made an impact on each student that walked through your door.

On hearing the news of Pearline's passing I immediately felt another hole piercing my heart. Our freshman year at Fayetteville State University was truly a writ of passage into a new world of personal freedom. It was incredible meeting new people and making new friendships. All of these beautiful people and Pearline was one of them. She was serious, funny, boisterous, opinionated, and very forthright. Rest in peace classmate. God bless you and your family.

I will dearly miss Pearline and the daily conversations. She was full of life and always make me laugh because of the things she would say. I could count on her to be honest about her view of all issues. We both were teachers and often spoke about the joy of teaching. She has been my friend since my moving to Charlotte in 1976. We both attend Fayetteville State University and are proud to say "Bronco Pride."
