Pedro Yzquierdo

Yzquierdo, Pedro of North Bergen, died peacefully at home on January 1, 2023. Pedro was born in Cuba on January 9, 1935, moved to New Jersey in the late 50's and became a US citizen in 1995.

Predeceased by his loving wife Paula, his parents and siblings.

Survived by his children Pedro (Rachel) of West Milford, NJ, Jorge (Aileen) of Indian Land, SC and Melissa (David) Colon of Hialeah, FL, his grandchildren Peter, Samantha, Joely (Tony), Monica, Jesus and Edilyssa, Great Grandchildren, dear friends Evelin (Alexandra) Reyes, Osiris and Sandra Vazquez.

After retiring from Charles Grunwerg & Sons Embroidery, Pedro worked part time for Atlas Pharmacy as a delivery man where he enjoyed visiting and talking with people.

He spent his last few years at home enjoying his retirement, playing solitaire, watching the Yankees, playing Dominos, and spending quality time with his family and friends. On rainy days, he could be found with a beer in one hand and a cigar in the other.

He will be missed by many.

Visitation Sunday January 8, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 and Monday January 9, 2023 from 11:00 - 12:00 followed by Entombment at Flower Hill Mausoleum.
