Peggy Littrell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 28, 2025.
Peggy Littrell, age 67, passed away on September 20, 2025, in Pera, Portugal. Born on May 10, 1958, in Quantico, Virginia, she lived a life marked by compassion, service, and deep devotion to both her family and her profession.

Peggy was the daughter of Ewin and Marie Davis, both of whom preceded her in death. From an early age, she demonstrated a strong sense of purpose and empathy that would guide her throughout her life. She pursued a career in nursing and earned her credentials as a Registered Nurse and Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN). Over the years, Peggy worked in multiple specialty ICU wards across several hospitals. Her dedication to patient care and her ability to bring comfort during the most critical moments left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Peggy was known for her generous spirit and tireless volunteer work. She devoted extensive hours to the United Service Organizations (USO), supporting military personnel and their families with warmth and enthusiasm. Her outgoing nature made her a beloved presence wherever she went.

Peggy also found joy in nurturing life outside the hospital walls. An avid gardener, she cultivated beauty with every season. Her passion for genealogy led her on journeys through history as she traced family roots with curiosity and care.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Dr. David Littrell; her sons Kevin (Sara), Josiah (Kevin), and Seth (Jaimie); and her daughter Addie (Kira). Her legacy lives on through them and through all who were touched by her kindness.

A memorial service was held in Pera, Portugal on Oct 1,2025
