Peggy Louise Hester Jones

Peggy Hester Jones, age 74, of Canton, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw on Monday, July 31st, beginning at 11 O'clock in the morning. Visitation for family and friends is Sunday, July 30th at the funeral home between the hours of 4pm – 8pm and at 10am prior to service on Monday. Flowers are welcomed and donations may be made to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at choa.org.
Ms. Jones had retired after 25 years of service with ATT-Lucent-Alcatel Technologies as a Payroll Clerk. In her spare time, Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren was at the top of her list.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her father and mother, Claude Tony Hester and Emmer Louise Hester of Acworth and brother Tony Hester, also of Acworth
Ms. Jones is survived by her sons – Rex A. and wife Teri Jones of Canton, Gary W. and wife Jamie Jones of Canton; grandchildren – Nathan and wife Courtney, Tori, Tyler, Dylan, and Colin; sister – Mary Lou and her husband Jerry DuPree of Powder Springs; sister in law Judy Hester of Acworth; also nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Nathan Jones, Matt DuPree, Randy Hester, Garrett Hester, Lance Jones, and Mark Maddox.
