Peggy Presto

Peggy Annette Presto (née Nelson), age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on August 27, 2025, in Salisbury, Maryland.

Born on January 15, 1939, in Crisfield, Maryland, Peggy was the daughter of the late Addison and Helen Nelson. She graduated from Crisfield High School in 1957 and went on to build a dedicated career with Sherwin Williams, where she worked for 38 years.

Peggy shared her life with her beloved husband, Frank Presto. Together they raised a family that brought them great joy. She is lovingly remembered by her son Kevin Presto and his wife Cheryl; her grandchildren Kaleb Presto, Jacob Dennis, Joshua Dennis, Rachel Ringer, and Sara Berger; her brother Dan Nelson and sister Rita Owen's, as well as her step-children, Cheryl Cannon (Jerry), Frank Willing (Jenny), and Darryl Willing (Beth) and many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Addison "Skip" Nelson and William "Bill" Nelson.

Known for her kindness, humor, and loving spirit, Peggy brought warmth and laughter to those around her. Her great sense of humor was a hallmark of her personality and left lasting impressions on all who knew her.

An open house for those wishing to express their condolences will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the home of Kevin and Cheryl Presto, located at 8218 N West Rd., Salisbury, MD.
