I am so saddened by the loss of Granny. She was one of the most amazing women I have met. I will never forget her contagious smile and how she truly lived her life to the fullest. Her energy was apparent to anyone that was in her presence and I'm sure it was just that way until the very end. Granny will always be missed but she will remain in my heart forever. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers while going through this sad time. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you.
Love, Melissa Sampson Farmer

God Bless the family of such a wonderful, wonderful nurse and person. I had the pleasure of working with Peggy in the 1980's at Henrico Doctors Hospital. The epitome of a well rounded loving woman. I know she will be missed. I can see her taking care of everyone still in a wonderful hospital in the sky.

Dearest Debra & Patti,
God Bless you all during this sad & difficult time. I enjoyed working w/your mom at HDH-Forest as nursing supervisor & then as a volunteer when she would make L&D charts. She was always smiling. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.

I worked at Henrico Doctor's Hospital with Peggy. I remember her first day on the post partum unit. I was supposed to be orienting her to the floor and I remember she just walked on the floor and it seemed like she had been working there for years. She just jumped right in with that beautiful smile and began to help. She was a wonderful nurse and I enjoyed working with her. I know that heaven is an even brighter place with her warm, infectious smile. May God Bless your family during this time.

I have so many fond memories of Peggy. Her smile was infectioous. Her gentle way so warm. My last visit with her was right after a procedure in the hospital, although I'm certain she was in pain and quite frail she managed to smile and seemed at peace. I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep you close in my prayers.

I extend my deepest sympathies to all of you who were blessed to be part of Peggy's family. I worked with Peggy at Stuart Circle, and always held her in the highest regard. She was an excellent nurse and always full of energy--and always smiling.
