Peggy Diane "Reynolds" (Winberg) Reynolds

Peggy Diane Reynolds was 74 years old when she went to be with the Lord. She was born in Beaumont, Texas to the proud parents of Elmer "Boots" and Arvena Winberg. She left her earthly home on November 13th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melissa Hope Reynolds, by her father Elmer Winberg and by her mother, Arvena Powell. She is survived by her husband Craig Reynolds. They were married on June 1st of 1968 and were married for 55 years. They adopted 5 children, Malissa, Chris, Angela, Shea and Shelly. Peggy had four grandchildren, Alex, Riley, Julianne and Logan.

Peggy graduated from Lufkin High School where she met her husband, Craig Reynolds. They lived a long and happy life in Lufkin where they raised their five children. In 1999 Peggy and Craig moved to Fairhope, Alabama. Eventually four children followed.

Peggy had many accomplishments throughout her life and was extremely active in the PTA at Kurth Elementary. She also was a substitute teacher and taught at numerous Lufkin Elementary schools in the 1980's. From 1989 to 1991 she was the P.E. Aid at Kurth Elementary. Peggy enjoyed teaching children where she was loved and appreciated by many. When she moved to Fairhope, she carried on her passion for teaching children into her substitute teaching. Peggy and Craig often volunteered and served at 3 Circle Church in Fairhope where they were active in the Church. Peggy loved and cared for any and everyone that she encountered and was known for her beautiful and upbeat personality. Her ultimate achievement was raising her children and being there for her husband Craig. No matter who Peggy met, she seemed to leave everyone happier than when she met them. She enjoyed spending precious time with her friends and family, always lighting up the room.

Peggy was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in October of 2022. Peggy and Craig loved their life in Fairhope where they spent a lot of their days at Church, cooking, and watching sunsets by the Fairhope Bay. Throughout Peggy's life she made it known that she chose to walk with God each and every day.

So sad to read that a high school friend has passed. She always had that beautiful smile and friendly personality I know her husband Craig will greatly miss her.
