Penny Sue Ogg

I started working for Highlands county elections in 2012 and had the pleasure of serving under Penny as the clerk for precinct 11 and at the elections office securing ballots as part of the duplication team.
Penny was one of the kindest souls I have ever met, and her love of our Lord Jesus Christ, her family and her extended family and friends, leaves us with an
outstanding example of how every one of us, can make this world a better place to live one person at a time.
Heaven has received a amazing new angel, and her legacy will live on through everyone of us that knew her.

I never met a more caring, considerate person than Peggy. She made everyone feel wanted and important. She will truly be missed. Her passing is a great loss.

I felt truly blessed to know and work with Penny. She was a caring and competent election leader that seemed to treat her precincts as her own children. I'm sure that all of us that worked with her will sincerely miss her.

Although I didn't know Penny well, she was one of those rare individuals you meet and say to yourself, "I wish I had what she had" - a special spiritual peace and presence that shined through. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Penny was a special treasure to this community and will be missed.

As one of Penny's poll workers, we learned right away that her mantra was "Don't ever turn anyone away from voting." She was passionate about everyone's right to cast a ballot, and we never saw her without a smile. She will be missed, big time.

Words could not express how truly blessed I am, and we all are, to have known such a wonderful, loving, thoughtful, and caring lady. She will be greatly missed in this world. I still cannot believe this is real, Penny was the Best. When God made her he made a beautiful Masterpiece, her Heart was Pure and her Smiles were infectious. It has been an Honor working elections with her, she was way much more than a co- worker/supervisor, she was a true Godly Friend, she would Pray with you , showed compassion, the very reflection of what Jesus wanted . She will definitely leave an Impact on our Community and be very much missed, To her family and close friends I am truly sorry for your loss. Penny was a blessing to all who knew her. We served on the Education Committee with the Florida Supervisor of Elections and she was always first to offer assistance. We will miss her as a Supervisor and as a friend. May you take comfort in loving memories and the friends and family that surround.

Words fail at this time as i think of the years spent in the past with Penny. Remember the Teen years, when we could get together at Camp, then the WONDERFUL Wedding music she provided for our wedding, the laughs at Pantry, the hours spent helping with my Babies, and then her Big wedding day :) then SOOO many times of laughter until we could hardly even breath... Not one bad Memory of this Sweet Great lady.. Would love the hear the Music she is playing now ..
To The Schnell and Ogg Family,,, We are so sorry for this untimely loss and you are will be in ours prayers in the coming days ahead.. Heaven is sure sounding Sweeter all the time.. Now even more so because of sweet Penny is there waiting.

Brad I am so sorry for your loss Penny was the sweetest person I know. Due to COVID and staying in my bubble. I will not be able to attend the service in person but I will definitely be there for the live stream. Prayers of comfort for u and your family at this difficult time, my friend.

I shall never forget the many chats we had over the years involving election issues and or dealing with voter registration and you were always genuine in your treatment towards me and others and over the years it was a honor to have you as a friend. Penny was a very sweet and kind lady. She help me so much in my city elections and she was such a pleasure to work with. We always had so much fun. I considered her a friend.
