Penny's humor and light hearted fun approach to life made working with her such a joy! She faced the difficult losses and her own illness in the past few years with stoic grace and still maintained a positive attitude. She will be missed. My thoughts are with Arden and her family and all of Penny's many friends at this difficult time.

Cousin Penny was about one month younger and our families lived about 8 miles distance around Lake Chabot. I remember many visits to Seven Hills Road where she lived. Our families also spent many summer vacations in Mokelumne Hill with grand-parents. It seemed that many "Peek cousins" overlapped visits during those hot summers in Calaveras County. High school years were more busy and there were always Christmas or Easter dinner gatherings at Clawiter Road or in Castro Valley with the Peeks. Time rushed by in college and later with young families. Much later we lived in Santa Clara near where Penny worked in adult-ed services on Benton street. We did visit in Los Gatos and met a few times at Sea Cliff (?) beach in Aptos. Always an interesting get-together with Penny !!

Penny was one of the first persons I met when I moved into Los Gatos in 1977. She was warm and welcoming and she helped teach me a lot of things about life. She included me in her social circle. She will be missed by all. She had a fabulous smile, quick wit and a curious mind that I loved. RIP dear Penny.

Penny brought so much love and joy to everyone around her. Her sassy personality is greatly missed. I´m sure she is dancing with Kyndal now and giving her lots of kisses. Much love from Jane and Lexi.
