Dear Aunty Cindy, Trent, and Cricket:
Our family is deeply saddened about Uncle Pete and I'm so sorry we could not attend his funeral and celebrate his life with you. Uncle Peter was a wonderful father, husband, brother, and son.
Uncle Pete left a great legacy for his children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends. I always admired and looked up to Uncle Pete. He was always so kind, generous, and was genuinely interested in others and their well being. I have many fond childhood memories of our visits to Baton Rouge, seeing all my aunts, uncles, and cousins; however, I will never forget how impressive it was to see Uncle Pete walk on his hands, which was truly a highlight of every visit!
I know you will miss your husband and father dearly, but I also know he is with Jesus now and is no longer struggling with Parkinson's Disease.
Many, many people have been blessed greatly by Uncle Pete and the way he lived his life; he is the type of uncle that all us nephews and nieces can be proud of!
With deepest sympathy and love,
Bud, Tammy, Haley, and Claire Kennedy
Blessed for those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Mrs. Cynthia, Trent, Cricket & Families--
I just learned of Mr. Pete's passing this morning. I am so sorry that I did not find out in time to be able to pay my respects yesterday. I remember him as such a kind, generous & witty man. Mrs. Cynthia, I remember fondly when you both were UMY counselors at BUMC. You were shining examples of love, faith and service. Although I haven't seen you much over the years, your influence and example is something that has always stayed with me. I know our good Lord has certainly told him "Well done, good & faithful servant."
Please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days to come. Wishing you God's grace, strength & peace now & always.

Dear Ms. Cindy and Family, I'm saddened to hear about Mr. Pete. I was privileged to have worked with him at DSM Copolymer. He was a great family man and always spoke so proudly of his family. He generously gave of his time and talent as a volunteer of Copo FCU, Kiwanis, and other organizations. My deepest condolences to all of you.

My Uncle was an amazing man and one of the fondest memories is the cool thumb trick he showed me and his Boudreaux thibadeaux jokes. I will miss you and love you!!!!!!
