Alden Jacobs Obituary
Toms River - Alden F. Jacobs, Jr., 71, of Toms River passed away on February 28, 2021. Alden was born in Plainfield, NJ to the late Alden & Dorothy Jacobs. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was later employed by Diversified Fixtures in Lakewood, NJ for 25 years as a cabinetmaker. Alden loved going fishing with his daughter, Grace, and loved spending time with his family.
Alden is predeceased by his step-daughter Melissa, and his brother Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra; his daughter Grace; his step-daughter Wendy; his grandchildren Alyssa, Alexandra, and Brian; his brother Steve; his sisters Nancy and Elizabeth; and many nieces and nephews. He was and will always be profoundly loved.
Services will be private under the direction of Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River. A celebration and memorial of Alden's life will be announced at a later date.

Sorry to hear about JAKE. At least that was the name I knew him by when we both were working for Petcon, building the Seawind condos in Long Branch, New Jersey way back when. Jake was the builder. I was on the clean up crew. Jake was only two years younger than me. Makes me wonder how long I have left? Hope everyone will do just fine after his passing. Fred Garrison [email protected]
