Peta, On behalf of all the women who played soccer together with your dad coaching we will always cherish those days and memories. Mothers, daughters, beginners or experienced players were all welcome and accepted. Peter stuck with us through the losses and shared the victories. When I was a kid, girls didn't play soccer! My first game was at age 35 - your mom talked me into playing and I loved every minute!

We are so sorry to hear about Peter. As a teenager, I lived with Uncle Vernon & Aunt Lucile, so Peter was more like a brother and not a cousin. I am sorry that we did not get to meet too often over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bev & Peta-Gay. Hopefully when next I visit Toronto, I will be able to meet you Bev. Cherie Arnett Watson & John (Mandeville, Jamaica).

The death of someone close to us leave us shocked with grief. We cannot understand how one minute this person was here and the next they are gone. The truth is that those we love are never truly gone. The body may have run its course, but the soul lives forever.
Peta-Gay, from my family to yours, we are so sorry to hear about this awful loss. It is never good to lose someone who you are so close to. We will be praying for all of you.

I met Peter on a few occasions when he came to Florida to visit his daughter, Peta-Gay. He was a devoted father to Peta-Gay and was her "rock." My sincerest condolences to the family, especially my friend, Peta-Gay. PG, Ron and I are here for you if you need to laugh, cry, scream, remember or just simply to stare.

I remember Peter as a fellow claim supervisor at the Hartford Insurance office in Toronto in the early 70,s. A sincere, kind & gentle man. I hadn't seen him for over 30 years & I regret that! Good bye, Peter, I am sure you will be missed!

I worked with Peter for a number of years before retiring and found him to be a confident and selfless man with an unfailing sense of humor. We shared many a chuckle but more importantly, we had many an argument - Peter had a gift for always expressing an opposing opinion in such a way that he would make you stop and think, rather than just getting angry. Peter had more than his share of personal tragedy, but did not let that tragedy consume him - he was always good company for all those who knew him. I counted Peter as a good friend and am deeply saddened by his passing. A great guy. We'll all miss him.
