My prayers and condolences to you on Peter's passing. He was very proud of his family, especially his sons. We had recently been in touch and I am glad for that. He was a lifelong friend. I miss both him and Andy. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about Col. Baer's passing, he an I started our Air Force
careers at the same time with the 181st, until I entered active duty and was station elsewhere.
The Air Force and the world is a lesser place with out Peter.

The 'Racer' family lost a great one this past weekend. Col Pete Baer was a fine officer and gentleman. I am sure he was an even better son, father, and husband. It was an honor to know Pete. He will be greatly missed. The state of Indiana has lost one of its finest sons.
