Dr. Ball was my chemistry professor for two years. He was one of the best teachers I ever had and I still repeat his words when I am cooking," stir stir stir". Thank you so much for all you taught me.

Dr. Ball was my organic chemistry lab instructor before he invited me to be a lab assistant the following year(s). He was an exceptional teacher -- passionate and caring about the craft and his students. We developed a close relationship. He would lecture me on the dangers of tanning beds but knowing I was stubborn he would bring me in clipped coupons from the newspapers for tanning salons. We made occasional dinners at Ruby Tuesday a regular thing -- he LOVED the salad bar. He loved driving around in his (new at the time) Toyota Prius and showing me all the features. Dr. Ball instrumentally supported my professional journey to becoming a doctor.

Science had not been a friend to me until I was fortunate to take Physical Science with Dr. Ball at Westfield State College many moons ago. He instilled the joy of discovery in the everyday things we see and use. One could tell he enjoyed teaching and we enjoyed learning from him. I think his teachings are still carrying on as I shared that wonderment with my children and now grandchildren. I think all his students have benefited from this wonderful professor.

Dr. Ball was my chemistry professor at Westfield State College. Chemistry was a tough course for me, but Dr. Ball was a patient, kind and exceptional professor. He was one of many wonderful teachers I had that allowed me to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. Thank you and God bless you Dr. Ball.

I liked Mr. Ball as the teacher of my chemistry class at Agawam High. He was kind, thoughtful and meticulous. Reserved and intellectual. I especially remember his gliding steps as he strode the halls of AHS, with longest stride I ever saw. It was an almost magical performance. My best to all his family. May he rest in peace and in your hearts forever.
