Peter Benoit Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Claire (Des Roches) Benoit; stepfather Edward J. Sottak; and sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Donald Romprey.
Survivors include his wife, J. Anna Benoit; children Peter Benoit (Jane) of Leawood, Kansas, Phillip Benoit (Sylvia) of Tucson, Ariz., Pamela Paulson (William) of Valley Center, Kansas, and Preston Benoit (Rob) of Bowie, Md.; brothers William Benoit (Lorraine) and Paul Sottak (Julie) of Laconia, N.H., and Barry Sottak (Gerry) of Santa Barbara, Calif.; sisters Gale Howland (David) of Laconia, N.H., Sharon Trautman (Jimmy) of Conway, S.C., and Sr. Catherine Sottak of Putman, Conn.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 29, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, at St. Jude Catholic Church.
Memorials established with St. Jude Catholic Church Building Fund, 3130 Amidon, Wichita KS 67204, and Kansas Motorcycle Museum, c/o Bill Paulson, 1330 S. Meridian, Valley Center KS 67147. Tributes may be sent to the family via www.dlwichita.com.

TO THE FAMILY:
i am proud that i got to know "Petie" at my work place, Mid America Powersports. i have been entertained by Petie for the past 5 years, with him stopping by to visit with a huge smile and leave with a joke. that man knew and remembered more jokes than i've ever been able to ever remember. his memory will be treasured by many & he will be missed.
