Your dedication to the various projects and issues you believed in will remembered and continued on by those you inspired. Plus I will cherish all those early morning trips to the San Francisco Flea Market as well as your knowledge of world history. RIP Peter

I unfortunately had never met Peter, but I knew his story well...I read the book "Bad Blood: The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment" (author, James Jones) after I completing my doctoral studies in 1995 -- since then, as a professor I have had all of my graduate students in public health and pharmacy read this book. It tells such an important story, one that every member of the health care system (in particular) and the general public should know.
Thank you, Peter, for your bravery. And condolences to the family. At 86, he lived a long and meaningful life!
