Pete was a mentor for me for some time. I have many memories of Pete, but the one that stands out most was my drivers test. Pete allowed me to take his red convertible for the test, you should have seen the instructor´s face when i lowered the top on that beautiful, summer day..."automatic pass" he replies. Pete always made sure i understood the road ahead before i took the rein's, always making sure i chose the path, never pushed onto it. Pete was strong, i am strong thanks to pete. I´ll miss you, old man.

Pete you always treated me like one of your own. I am thankful for all of the memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you for all of the laughs, steak dinners, dances, and love. You were a force of nature and I loved you dearly!

Ty, Catlin, Tara, So sorry for your loss. I just found out today. Dad and I would always message each other on special days and I was kept up to date on whatever you guys were up to. When he came north we would try to catch up here at the lake. Always enjoyed the stories and we had lots to share. He will be missed. My thoughts are with you all.

Pete was a close family friend and I was good friends with his son Ty growing up. I spent a lot of time with them during my childhood. I was also fortunate to have Pete as a football coach for two seasons as a child and he not only taught me about football but also a trait which I still believe in to this day. He constantly reinforced that it took "heart" to be a great player. I emphasize that with my own children that are in sports as well as young athletes I´ve coached. Rest easy Pete and thank you for everything. You´ll always be missed.

One of my favorite moments with was when he and I walked into my apartment through the back door - wherein we saw my cat, Mela, on top of the refrigerator with the freezer door open; we had gone to happy hour so not sure either of us truly believed what we were seeing until we realized the other one saw it also - LOL. We laughed so hard - I had a lot of laughs with Mr. Pete (he loved that I called him that) and we had a lot of true friendship moments of support and fun. So grateful for the friendship and will love and remember him always - I am including a pic from several years ago with his friend Tommy and I.
