Mr. Ebbs gave me my first Job at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Covington on Main Street. He nicknamed me" Country"....I found this out by him being heavily on my heart. Continued prayers for the Mrs. Ebbs and family.

I believe we were friends in Louisville in the '60s.
Did Peter live in the Highlands around Douglas Loop at that time?

Pete will always be a very part of me (Bobo) as my childhood neighbor living just around the corner from their home on South 36th Street in Derbytown. He helped to build and erect my basketball goal in the alley my grandfather created to allow the Ebbs to have a Car Garage. He was very much a cog in the wheel that got me rolling on my life journey to the point at which I exist today. The Ebbs (Henry, Moma Marie, Robert, Bill and yes Pete) will always be regarded by me as Precious Family. Loved him here in this life and will continue to love him where ever he may now be!! Henry L. Cobbs, Jr., AKA, Bobo!!

Too glad I was able to complete my Cincy sojourn in Dec 21 to hang out with Pete and meet his lovely wife Dianne. I will always regard The Ebbs (Henry, Marie, Robert, Bill, and Pete) as my extended family. They made such a positive impression on me during my early childhood years. I spent countless hours with Robert, and Bill and Pete erected my Basketball goal in our alley. I view my first television on the Ebbs' Philco Console TV, 1952. RIP peace my beautiful Brother. Your younger bro and Parkland neighbor, Henry "Bobo" Cobbs!!

Hello Dianne, Bo here. I am so glad that I journeyed to Cincy in December to see Pete and to be introduced to you. During my childhood, The Ebbs (Henry, Marie, Robert, Bill and Pete) were my extended family. We were neighbors in Parkland. I spent many hours with Robert at the Ebb's home on 36th Street. Bill and Pete constructed my Basketball goal in our alley. I saw my first television on their Philco TV set. Being more than a decade younger than Robert and Bill, I learned a great deal from each member of the Ebbs family. Pete will also occupy a special place in my heart along with the other members of his immediate family. The world is a better place for many of us owing to the caring nature of Peter Ebbs. My deepest condolences to Dianne and family. RIP my Brother, Pete!! Your youngest Bro, Bo!

So sorry for your loss. I was a little girl when Mr. Ebbs came to visit my dad, but I remember him. My dad said that was his 2nd cousin. My prayers go out to the entire family. Continued prayers for strength and comfort.
