Marisol I wish to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad. I know he was in great pain and now he can rest in peace. Please know that I am praying that your pain of his loss will also soon pass. Losing a parent is a very personal part of anyone's life. Only you know how you feel and I truly want you to know that you have friends who are here for you during this time in your life. God bless and stay strong.
Love

To Pete's family: Your loss is our loss. A man gets few friends like Pete in a lifetime. It was my good fortune to claim him as mine. I shall cherish his memory and the recollection of our fabulous times together when "we were soldiers once, and young..." and of more recent times, when we relived old times. I will miss Pete just as I miss my own deceased brother. I loved him exactly like a brother.
