PETER EVANOVICH Obituary
On Friday, November 27, 2009, of North Huntingdon. Son of the late John and Stanka (Gojkovich) Evanovich; brother of Michael "Mike"-"Mile" (late Dorothy), late Frank "Flip", Charlie (late Sophie) Evanovich and the late Violet "Pepa" (late Michael) Medvec; also survived by nieces and nephews. Rack was a member of the St. Nicholas Serbian E.O. Church in Monroeville and was a WWII U.S. Marine Veteran. Friends are being received in the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave. Wilmerding, PA 15148 412-824-4332 on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8pm. Pomen Service in the funeral home Sunday at 7 pm. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT St. Nicholas Serbian E.O. Church, 2110 Haymaker Road, Monroeville, PA 15146 on Monday at 10am followed by service at 11am. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.

I am so sad reading this. What a wonderful person he was. Always supportive of all events with the church. He was a true pillar of the church and will be so so missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Evanovich family and the St. Nicholas church family.
