Pete was one of the first people we met in the neighborhood. We quickly realized we had England in common and began a great Friendship with Him and Heather. He was always willing to help out and was fiercely protective of the kids on our street. No one dared go fast on our street when Pete was out! He is truly missed and his memories will live on.

I´ll always think of Uncle Pete as the wisecracking, fun loving man who would go out his way to ensure my visits to the USA were always a blast. Whether it was riding coasters at Disneyland, or cruising the strip in Las Vegas, I will always remember Uncle Pete as the life of the party.

Pete and I worked together and commuted into Downtown for hours at a time. We enjoyed talking about our Navy days, how much he enjoyed making things out of wood and epoxy. Sharing the highlights of our photography and trips with our families. We stayed in touch after I changed jobs and had a great evening with Heather and Pete to introduce the humor of Gabriel Aka Fluffy. You will be missed, and our hearts go out to Heather and Celeb.

Baby boy ahoy!
My son Peter was 9 months old when I first saw him. My ship was returning to England from the Mediterranean station after being away for 15 months. We had stopped on our approach to the harbour, so that families ferried out to meet us could come aboard. Peter was the first to come aboard, after being passed up into my eager open arms
Bon voyage Son

I never called him Uncle Peter it was always Uncle Gopher. I have so many memories with him growing up it's hard to pick just one.
But I think one of the funniest times was. When I went to visit one Christmas my mum told me to say something to him as soon as I saw him and it was.
" My mum told me you tell you before you told me you sure is ugly"
And he just turned round and said "Well your mum is calling you ugly then as we look alike"

I always found that Peter was great fun to be around, whether on a road trip, at a convention or just chilling. Peter had a fund of stories and was generous to a fault. He was my American whisk(e)y buddy and I will miss him.

Mum and I had met up with Uncle Peter as well as Grandpa in Las Vegas. We did a drive out to the red rocks with the two of us in the back seat. We were constantly hit with giggles as we over indulged in chocolate. It´s my favourite memory of Uncle Peter.

Reflecting on my brother's life, one of the most cherished memories I have of him is from when we were separated by distance but were incredibly close. In a time before technology made communication as easy as touching a button, my brother and I would exchange letters as we were both at boarding school. It was a tangible piece of evidence that we were in each other´s thoughts despite the distance.
