Dearest Mr. and Mrs. Fogl, Anita, Vlad, Steven, Nicholas and family,
Please accept my deepest, heartfelt condolences. Peter and I began by sharing our Czechoslovakian heritage through our dads. We became friends. He introduced me to his best friend. I married his best friend. He was our Best Man. He became part of our family, being "Uncle Peter" to our children, Alanna, Tyler, Matthew and Ryan. He was Godfather to our son Matthew.
We shared good times and bad, always knowing we would be there for each other.
Peter,
Thank you for the gift of your friendship, the gift of Kevin and the gift of being part of our children's lives. For all that you were and always be, memories will comfort and your love will live on, forever in our hearts.
All our love,
Anne-Marie Kolacek Hoobin and family

Dear Peter,
Christmas has come and gone, your what-would-of-been 57th birthday has come and gone....but one thing that will never come and go....is our memories of you. Your joie de vivre, your loyalty to family and friends...and of course your very unique sense of humour. Thank you for your friendship, thanks for all the great chats and dinners, and thanks for providing Jaclyn and Brian a few years back with the best parking spot ever!!!!!
Rest in peace dear Peter...and I sincerely hope that right now you're playing a round of golf with Dickie and Dom...wearing your "signature" shorts and pink crocs!!!!!! And in your words......"Attache ta tuque"!!!!!
Fondly,
Sharon Francoeur, Jaclyn and Brian Phaneuf...xx

Another friend gone far too young,
right now no solace no matter how hard we try,
Peter's now in Heaven with Craig and Dick,
why is it that we never get to say a proper good bye?
Rest well dear friend, you're now at peace,
your good will on earth has been done,
thanks for the all the great memories and laughter,
I shall forever cherish your friendship, always so full of fun!
All my love

My deepest sympathies go out to Peter's entire family as well as all of his many friends. Peter was a generous spirit who loved life. He was always the consummate host to all who knew him and came to his home. His kindheartedness and generosity to myself and my family (especially my Dad Ken) and also my friends will always be appreciated and never forgotten. Peter was part of my life for ten years, and I will always cherish the many memories we had together and all of the times spent with families and friends. He has been taken away far too soon. I only pray that he is now at peace. 'Sweet rest in the shroud' Ode to Joy. (Peter's favorite piece of music). Janet

Peter was my friend. He was the type friend that looked you in the eye when he spoke and a man who's words were fueled by sincerity and caring. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My heartfeld condolences to his family and friends. Pete....I will miss you.

My sincerest condolences to the Fogl family. I had met Peter through Janet on several occasions, and although the encounters were brief, he always left me smiling and laughing at his corny jokes or wry remarks. He struck me as a passionate person with strong opinions on most subjects and he will be sorely missed. I know he goes to a better place now....
May he rest in peace....

My sincere condolences to the Fogl family.
I am so saddened to hear of Peter's passing. We were classmates and teammates in hockey and football through 4 great years at Loyola H. S. He was always so much fun to be around and helped us win many championships.....days that I think about often here in my exile in Chicago.
Peter....may you rest in peace.

My memories of Peter go back to his Loyola High School days when he was an active part of the ski club. He helped organize the ski trips as well as added to the party feeling while on the bus. On the ski hill he was one of the best skiers I had ever met. He taught me how to ski.
I remember his big heart and a personality bigger than life. Although I have not seen him since leaving Momtreal many years ago, I remember him vividly and always will.
I will ski a run at Whistler for you, Peter.
My condolences to his family and friends.
An old and appreciative friend, Pat MacKenzie, Pemberton, B.C.

My sincere condolences to Peter's family and friends. Peter had a huge impact on my life away from home at Loyola. We shared many great times and jokes and Peter was a true friend. My prayers and thoughts are with you Peter!!!

Peter's legacy is that he put everything he had into every endeavour. He was fun to be around, was a consummate host, loyal and giving to friends, and enjoyed debating any topic regardless of scope. I'll miss his terrific laugh on the golf course, during his dinner parties, while attending events or when discussing how we would solve most of the world's problems. He lived life and we're better off to have known him for these many years.

Dearest Peter
It is with great sadness that I write this entry to your guest book. I am so grateful that we reconnected after 35 years. You have given me so many good memories to cherish from when we first met in 1975 in the Bahamas to the time spent together over the last year and some. I will always remember you walking Mollie all over Montreal whether it was permitted or not - you didn't care. I loved the meals we prepared together and the golf games with friends. But most of all - your love of life. You were a kind and generous man who was dearly loved by your family and many friends. A friend that we thought we would have in our lives for many years to come. Peter you will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies to your family. I hope you are at peace. Love Barbara MacIntosh, Ottawa, Ontario

I am truly saddened by the passing of a really good guy who I met at Loyola. We shared lots of good talks and laughs about our school days and love of sports. He always made a point of greeting me when I visited Montreal and it seemed that every time I was at a warrior or stinger game he was there supporting the younger generation of students. He left us far too early.I miss you Peter.
Bye for now Your pal Bob Miele

My deepest sympathies to Peter's parents, sister and extended family. I have lots of wonderful memories of the Loyola/Marymount connection and of course, Concordia University. Peter and I lost touch over the years, but when we did connect, it was like we were never apart. We have lost a great friend. Thankfully, memories live forever.

My deepest sympathies to Peters’ family at this difficult time. I have known Peter since our years at Concordia when we had a close group of friends who shared a lot of fun times together. I cannot add anything meaningful to what has already been said on these pages about Peter. However, I do want to add my condolences. I can imagine that Peter is now having a lively debate with Dickie about the Habs versus Bruins or Als versus Ti-Cats. He is probably sharing a joke with Martha and discussing old times with Larry. All taken way too early. Rest in peace, Peter.

I have known Peter since elementary school. I told him a few years ago that I always felt that he was like a brother to me. Over the past ten years we spent many good times and suffered thru some tough times together. Peter cared deeply for life and lived it with a passion for people, righteousness and honesty. I am proud to say he was my friend. Sincere condolences to his whole and extended family and many friends. Bill & Lynne Humes

So sorry to hear about your brother. I remember many years ago going to your house with a bunch of kids from St. Monica's. Your grandmother made you and Peter give us a little concert. You and Peter were not very happy about it. My condolences to you and your family

Many years ago, Peter and I met through dear friends Kevin and Anne Marie Hoobin. We met in Florida for the baptism of one of his many Godchildren, Mathew, and many times in Montreal since then. Peter loved Montreal and delighted in sharing the excitement of his city, with my international exchange students and I - as recently as the long weekend in August of this year. Peter was a great host and the kids loved our weekends in Montreal. Peter will be missed, but will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Sincere condolences to the Fogl family.

I recall Pete as a fierce running back who made you pay dearly for tackling him. Our paths crossed many times way back in the days of park league football in N.D.G., then in those memorable Loyola vs. LCC games. Pete was a tough competitor and a great guy. 40 or so years on I still remember that about him. To all who knew and loved him, my sincere sympathies on his passing.

I was at Loyola Cegep during 1972-74 and we were a large group of people who would meet between classes to drink coffee, smoke cigarettes, tell stories and laugh. One of these friends was Peter Fogl. He was full of life and possessed a dry wit that kept us all entertained. Rest well dear Peter. My sincere condolences to all Peter's family and friends.

It was with great dismay I learnt of Peter's passing. My very sincere condolences to the Fogl family and to his extended "family" who has held him so dear.
Kevin, Peter, Marika, Susan, Karen, and so many of our friends from Concordia's class of 1976 have such great memories...of skiing together, football games, hanging in the library etc. One of my fond memories of Peter was him coming back from Florida after Christmas or Spring Break and he just had to wear a white ski jacket to show off that deep, deep tan! We have learned a great lesson to stay closer to those who share these memories.

To Peter's Family,
You were a long time NDG family and I went to school with Peter - who was a very good and tough football running back.
I last saw Peter at a family wedding 2 years ago and we shared many memories - he always promised to visit Louise and I in North Troy, VT where his parents had a residence but it never happened - too bad as East Hill is pretty close to us.
Our sincere condolences to the family and a reminder not to put off any visits - life can be very short !

My wife and I moved here from Vancouver and you have been one of the best people I have met since we came here...and I only know you from talking with you at the dog park on Avenue Docteur Penfield. In the three years since I met you it was always a pleasure to talk with you and see you and your dog at the park. You were kind, funny and spoke from your heart...the other day I was there, it may have been Monday...I thought of you and wondered why I had not seen you lately...I remember the last time I ran into you, as you left, shaking my hand as always you said "Enjoy this beautiful day!" as you walked down the hill with your coffee in your hand.
Today I found out you had passed and it truly broke my heart.
My sincere condolences to your family.
