Faith and I were so saddened to see the news of Peter's passing. I first met Peter in the late 1990's at a dinner arranged by one of his attorney partners. After dinner, Peter took both of us to the old Reunion Arena to see the Dallas Stars play. We struck an immediate friendship as we both love the sport, and I arranged for Peter to become one of my firm's bankruptcy lawyers. He was a great friend, lawyer and counselor to me. He invited me to many games there and also at the AAC before we became season ticket holders. Then, we sat with Peter and Barabara along with several friends who have written such kind things in this Guest Book. During our 10+ years of being SeasonTicket Holders, we enjoyed getting to know Peter and Barbara's children and also their Grandchildren. It was fun to watch Matthew grow up. No question about it - you could just sit there and watch how close this family was and is. A real pleasure and proving what a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather Peter was. I really miss him but am comforted that I'll see him again as he is with our Lord and Savior. I can't wait for that to happen. God Bless Peter and the Franklin Family!

Something I will never forget about Peter is when Robert and Peter use to hunt ducks together every year. One day, I pulled into the driveway of our beautiful new home, to find Peter and Robert, in full camo, cleaning ducks on the tailgate of Robert´s truck. Feathers flying in the wind, looking like complete hillbillies. What a great first impression to the neighborhood!
