Peter Gailis Obituary
Peter Gailis died on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the age of 94.
He was the beloved husband of the late Elinor (Trask) Gailis and Eleanor (Nyquist) Gailis.
Mr. Gailis was born and raised in Malden, the son of the late Peter and Christina (Ryan) Gailis. Mr. Gailis owned and operated a garage in Malden and a retail store in Hyannis. He was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Susan Gailis of Salem. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
