One of the fondest memories we have is from the family clambake- lobster feast that Peter arranged, complete with lobster hats and lots of laughter. That is how I will remember him, holding court and with melted butter! Rest In Peace.

I always said that if I needed to get to New York this afternoon,Peter would be the guy I called.He was also my health care provider. Marie,Great job caring and loving Pete.

Dear Gurney Family, my deepest sympathy to you all. I have known Peter since childhood and have many wonderful memories. We celebrated out 13th birthdays together and as as I always let him know, I was always 2 days older then him. Peter Jr we met you many moons ago here in Sassaquin and have pictures of you and our Spanish exchange student Elena. My Condolences to you and your sis... He was special to our family and and although we have not met in many years, he will always be the boy next door...Love & Blessings to his brothers in this time of sorrow...
