Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 18, 2010.
LOS ANGLES, Calif. — Peter Abraham Haskell, actor, died suddenly in his sleep on Monday, April 12, 2010, in Los Angeles, California. He was 75. During his long career as a television actor, he starred in such series as "Bracken's World" and "Ryan's Hope" and was a frequent guest star on others such as "ER," "Murder She Wrote" and "The Law and Harry McGraw."

Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Browne & Nichols and Harvard. In his youth he spent many summers at the family home in Bass River, and always remained an avid Red Sox fan. He was a veteran, having served as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne.

In addition to his wife Dianne, daughter Audra and son Jason in California, he leaves his sister Nancy A. Haskell of Cummaquid, as well as numerous Golden and Terrio cousins on the Cape and in the Boston area. A celebration of his life was held yesterday in Los Angeles.
