Peter Heinrich Obituary
A graduate of Dedham High School and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, Peter dedicated his career to running Heinrich's Greenhouse, a multigenerational local wholesale florist business. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and spent cherished time on Cape Cod biking, fishing, and shellfishing aboard his boat, "For Pete's Sake." In the winter months, he enjoyed skiing. Peter also had a love for the performing arts, music, reading, and sharing a good beer with friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claire (Corrigan) Heinrich, as well as his siblings Paul Heinrich and Patricia (Heinrich) Major. He is survived by his son, Eric Heinrich, and his wife Beth of Milton, Massachusetts; his daughter, Kamalei Love-Oh, and her wife Jessica Chaffee of Bowdoinham, Maine; and his sister Phyllis (Heinrich) Molloy. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews.
Peter's ashes will be interred at the family plot in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham, Massachusetts. A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) at JDRF.org.

One of my favorite memories of Peter is watching him and Claire dance the polka at my cousin David's wedding to Cheryl. They were so beautiful together.
Peter was also so good to my grandparents. The Heinrichs visited every Wednesday during the summer. Peter would plant flowers around my Nana's patio. Claire would have tea with Nana out on the porch. And I could build castles and give piggyback rides to both Eric and Kamalei Much love to you all-- Nancy

Dear Peter's family:
Sorry for your loss.
I was a customer of Peter's and purchased many beautiful plants for St. Susanna's Church in Dedham. I also enjoyed watching him shear his sheep. He was so kind, cheerful and thoughtful. God's Blessings and may he rest in peace.
