I don't know if you will remember me Rick, but we were friends in Montreal in the early 80's. I was a neighbour of your parents on Cedar Avenue, and enjoyed many a conversation with both of them, often while walking our dogs on Mount Royal. In fact it was your mother who suggested I meet you to talk about McGill, and I subsequently worked with you at Canadair. I recently found out that your father had died, and that your mother also died, and I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I was to hear the news, even though we had not been in touch for many years. I would love to hear from you Rick,if you feel so inclined sometime.

Even though I only met your Father once I never forgot the amazing impression that he made upon me. I was visiting Joan W in Montreal and together they showed me a beautiful time. He made the best drinks, delicious eggs benedict and told the best stories. And handsome to boot! Joan W loved him dearly and I am sorry to say that I'll miss seeing him next time I'm visiting Montreal.

I could not have wished for a better Father-In-Law. You were one of the most delightful, charming, elegant gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure to meet and I shall miss you. Fondest love, Jane, Too.
