HC Alumni and Friends,
Belated prayers for Coach Peter Hoffman, his loved one's and entire family. I recall hearing he had been called home but never found any information, until today. The Holy Cross Knights teams in Heaven must have needed coach's, three, Coach Jim Amicone, Coach Felipe Waterwall and Coach Peter Hoffman all passed in 2024. Coach Hoffman was a pillar of HC Football and left his mark on many a Holy Cross Knight. Coach Hoffman recruited me my freshman year to keep stats for the football team through my 4 years at HC. In those days, after compiling stats, I would call them in for 25 cents, to the Express News and the San Antonio Light from a pay phone behind the cafeteria by the ice machine. In 2025 this will be Squeaks 31st year since returning as the Holy Cross Football statistician, plus the 4 years in high school for a total of 35 years. Making Coach Peter Hoffman proud from his Holy Cross Football perch in Heaven. God Bless Coach Peter Hoffman. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Pete saved my life when we went swimming at Crystal Lake. He was a great guy and will definitely be missed by all.
