Please accept my belated condolences. Pete will be sorely missed. He always had a smile on his face or a story to tell or some silly trick he picked up in his travels. You are in my thoughts and prayers. With love....

Mr. Iole was my Jr. High Asst. Principal in the late 1970's. He was always happy and kind to me and oh how we would joke and "pun-around". He was the only person who I knew that could draw a perfect circle any time any where. My deepest sympathies to his family. I have very many sweet memories of him.

What a wonderful man! He had such patience with me when I was an idiot kid! He truly was very special and after reading about him, I am still more impressed!

So very sad to hear about this. What a grand man. He was my Vice principal when I was at Pine Jr. high in 1974-1977. I've seen him over the years and just loved his joy, kindness and sensibility. I speak for hundreds of students that I know (and I'm sure thousands that I don't know) who would agree that we were blessed to have had him as a leader in out lives.

Pete and Bo, I'm so sorry for your loss! The two times I had a chance to speak with him, his wit and personality shined through. God's peace to you both and all whose lives he touched! Claudia Valentine

Let's rejoice that il Professore, as his mama called him is done with the troubles of the world. I can't help but feel he's still telling stories and tickling funny bones of that great audience abovethe Father, Son and Holy Ghost and all the saints who have marched into glory with him.
Oh, Lord, I want to be in that number. Amen
So, if you'll pardon the expression, knock em dead, Uncle Pete and thank you. You made us laugh. You shared our joys and sorrows. You taught us some very important things about love

Maria - So sad to learn of his passing. He certainly had such a positive impact on so many people. He was one of my very favorite people even though I was only a part of the family for a few years. My heart is sad with yours, but know that he is now making all the angels laugh! Love and sympathy to you all. Berna

My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Mr. Iole was my principal in junior high and we were reacquainted when my husband and I moved to the Mars area many years ago. He always greeted us with a warm smile when our paths crossed. I still share his books with young adults that I work with. He was a wonderful man. May your memories help you through these difficult times.
