I only just learned. Rest in peace, old friend. You were always helpful, and always made it sound like I had done you the favor, bringing my car in for something when I'd thank you afterward. I treasure the pieces from your garage that you sold me after it closed, and use some of them too! Studebakers and Packards forever!

Jody and I are forever grateful to Pete and Rose for their assistance with our FOREST HILLS book. They were so very friendly and helpful in sharing stories and photgraphs....we would NOT have had a successful book without them. More importantly, though, we are grateful as Forest HIlls citizens for everything Pete and his family did to make Forest Hills what it is. he was ONE OF THE GIANTS.

Pete was a great help to me with parts for my 1964 Studebaker. I never had the pleasure to meet him in person but felt acquainted via the telephone. RIP Pete.
