Peter LORIMER

I was so shocked and saddened by the news of Peter's death. I worked with him in the eighties, when he was with the TRE-ADD program. We had a lot of fun back then, as we all tried to find the best method to teach and work with children with autism. He was a happy guy who always had a smile for everyone. Althought I just heard about this yesterday, I wanted to extend my deepest condolences....Robyn Stewart-Meredith

We were so shocked to learn of Peters passing. Peter tutored our son Bryan for 4 years, from grade 8 go 11. We always talked hockey as our son plays competitive hockey and we always talked about Peters children and how proud he was of them. Peter not only helped Bryan with his learning, he also helped him with his self confidence. It takes a special person to do that. Unfortunately, we lost track of what Peter was up to this past year; Bryan finished his tutoring a year ago as he wanted to try Grade 12 on his own. I had said to my husband, just this past Friday, we need to let Peter know that Bryan graduated, did some upgrading in English to get a better mark and he started college last Thursday. Sadly, Saturday is when we learned of Peters passing. We never made that call to Peter so I want his children to know that we are forever grateful to their father for helping our son Bryan make his dreams of going to college come true. My deepest condolences to Peter's family and colleagues. We only got to know Peter in February of this year when he began tutoring my son Tyler. From February to June, he was at our house twice a week, always smiling and upbeat. My son is a major hockey fan and Peter was always up to date on the latest in the hockey world !! Peter will be truly missed and never forgotten.
